Welcome to the EMTec website! EMT provides Environmental Consulting Services including erosion and sediment control and environmental assessment and remediation.

Erosion and sediment control has become in increasingly important concern on construction projects as a means to protecting water quality of our rivers, lakes and other waters. We help our clients in providing erosion and sediment control plans, training and undertaking the implementation of necessary controls. The firm also runs erosion and sediment education workshops for clients as well as the general public. The firm has two certified professionals in erosion and sediment control (CPESC) a designation originally sponsored by the Soil and Water Conservation Society, International Erosion Control Association and American Agronomists.

Environmental Site Assessments: The company has been involved in several Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental site assessments as well as the remediation of sites contaminated with hydrocarbons, aesbestos and mould. The company has designed several land treatment units and provided consulting and testing services for the remediation of soils contaminated with hydrocarbons.
